Marie Wallace and John Karlen in the staged reading of The House, on Sunday. John's character was the inspiration for the DS character Jason McGuire. In The House, he blackmails Caroline to force her to allow him to live in her spooky mansion. Caroline mistakenly thinks she killed her husband and hid the body in the basement -- just like the Liz/Jason/Paul storyline in the pre-Barnabas episodes of DS.
